Set into the gentle hillside of Lino, a discreet residential enclave on the southwestern flank of Mykonos, Villa Lino unfolds across 310 square metres of considered architecture and a generous four-thousand-square-metre plot. The setting is deliberately removed from the choreography of Chora, yet close enough that the island's most coveted addresses — Nammos, Scorpios, Alemàgou — remain a short drive away. Three bedroom suites accommodate up to six guests, making the villa equally suited to a close-knit family stay or a small party of friends drawn to the Aegean for its particular blend of sunlight, salt, and social rhythm.
The main level is composed as a single, flowing volume. A fully equipped open-plan kitchen, fitted with Smeg appliances, anchors one end of the space, while a spacious living room — cooled by ceiling fans and softened by uninterrupted views of the pool and the sea beyond — extends toward broad glazed openings. An indoor dining table seats eight beneath the same horizon, and a few steps deliver guests directly onto the terrace, where a second dining setting awaits in the open air. A guest bathroom with a walk-in shower completes the level, alongside Suite One: a master bedroom with a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, in-room amenities including a small fridge, safebox and television, and balcony doors that open directly onto the terrace and pool. It is the suite for the guest who wants the sea within arm's reach.
A staircase leads to the upper floor, where Suites Two and Three each enjoy their own private balcony and uninterrupted views toward the Aegean. Both rooms are appointed with queen-size beds, generous lounge areas, in-room televisions, small fridges, safeboxes and ceiling fans. Suite Two features an open-plan en-suite with a double sink and a rainfall shower; Suite Three offers a similarly architectural en-suite with its own rainfall shower. The symmetry between the two rooms makes the villa particularly well suited to couples travelling together, with no compromise on space, privacy or outlook.
The exterior is organised around a heated infinity pool of eighty square metres, its edge dissolving into the broader panorama of the southwestern coast. Sun loungers and umbrellas are arranged along its perimeter, an outdoor shower offers a quick rinse between swims, and the alfresco dining table seats eight beneath the open sky — ideal for the long, lingering Cycladic dinners that begin in daylight and end under the stars. The grounds themselves, at four thousand square metres, lend the property a sense of seclusion that is increasingly rare on the island.
Behind its pared-back Cycladic forms, the villa is comprehensively modern. A smart-home system governs the central cooling, heated floors and integrated lighting, while a back-up power generator, CCTV, alarm system and high-speed Wi-Fi ensure both continuity and peace of mind. Each suite is finished with Molton Brown bath amenities, an in-room hairdryer and a personal safebox; the kitchen extends to a dishwasher and full washing facilities. Daily housekeeping is provided as standard, with linens and towels refreshed twice weekly, and a dedicated concierge is on hand to arrange transfers, restaurant tables, beach-club daybeds, private chefs and boat charters across the island.
Lino's position places the villa within a short drive of the experiences that define a Mykonos stay. Mykonos Airport sits just 2.5 kilometres away, the main town 3.7 kilometres, and the new port 7.3 kilometres — quick connections that simplify both arrival and onward travel. For the beach, Platis Gialos lies 2.9 kilometres down the coast, while Scorpios is reachable in under two kilometres and Nammos in under three. Alemàgou and Principote, on the island's quieter northern shore, are a manageable drive for guests inclined to vary the scenery. Ano Mera, the island's traditional inland village, is 8.4 kilometres inland — a useful counterpoint for an afternoon away from the coast.
