Tucked into the sculpted hills of Elia, Villa Aasiya is a six-bedroom private residence that fuses high-concept design with Mykonos’ elemental beauty. Spanning 850 square meters, this exceptional home is more than a luxury retreat—it’s an architectural meditation on form, texture, and landscape. Designed by Design Research Studio in collaboration with A31 Architecture, the villa is built directly into the rocky terrain, with lines and materials that feel drawn from the earth itself.

Local materials with a global eye for detail

Throughout the villa, native stone, Greek marble, and rough plaster are elevated by refined craftsmanship. From bedframes infused with Mykonian soil to carved wooden totems and sculptural details, each element feels considered and rooted. The aesthetic is raw yet controlled, expressive yet grounded—creating a calm, tactile space that honors both contemporary design and Cycladic tradition.

A layout designed for privacy and peace

Villa Aasiya’s six bedrooms—including a private detached suite—are oriented to embrace the landscape. Two offer their own plunge pools, while all open to sweeping views of Elia’s hills and sky. Shared spaces are equally generous: a monolithic stone kitchen, an expansive living room, and a wine cellar that invites lingering evenings with friends. Outdoors, a grand infinity pool arcs out toward the Aegean Sea, with shaded lounges and a full BBQ area that extend the living experience into the open air.
