A traditional Hvar retreat among the olive groves

Villa Zoya sits in a peaceful setting near Hvar Town, surrounded by olive trees and overlooking the sea, with a charming lighthouse visible from the property. Built using traditional stone and oak, the villa combines Mediterranean materials with carefully considered contemporary details. Its relationship with the neighbouring Villa Alora is particularly distinctive: the two villas are adjacent and can be rented together, while Zoya has been arranged as a mirror image of Alora, with the terraces facing opposite directions to preserve privacy when the homes are occupied independently. Together, the two homesites extend across approximately 1,000 m², while Villa Zoya itself provides 230 m² of living space.

Spacious interiors with a natural palette

The villa's spacious living room is centred around expansive sea views and custom-made furniture in natural materials and earthy tones. A fully equipped kitchen opens towards an indoor dining area with seating for six, with space for two more at the kitchen counter, while a separate lounge area features leather sofas, a television, DVD player and high-end stereo system. The four-bedroom accommodation includes king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms and private outdoor areas, with the master bedroom opening through large glass doors onto a furnished balcony overlooking the sea and olive groves. A laundry room with washer and dryer adds further practicality.

Poolside living and evenings under the stars

Outside, the 40 m² heated infinity pool incorporates a spa area where guests can relax while looking towards the sea horizon. The lawn has been deliberately made generous, reflecting the simple pleasure of lying on the grass and watching the stars after dark, while a stone gazebo and fire pit provide a more intimate setting for evenings. A covered terrace leads from the living room to a stone barbecue and outdoor dining table for eight, surrounded by Mediterranean herbs. Inside, a wood-burning fireplace, high-end stereo system, Villeroy & Boch tableware, air conditioning, heating and internet access complement the villa's more atmospheric features.

Close to Hvar Town and Pokonji Dol

Despite its secluded feel, Villa Zoya is close to the centre of Hvar Town, approximately two minutes by car or taxi and around 15–20 minutes on foot. Pokonji Dol beach is approximately 400 metres away, with its pebble shore and lighthouse reached via an old, uneven path for which suitable footwear is recommended. The surrounding area also offers opportunities to explore Hvar's historic churches, museums, marina, restaurants, wineries and nearby coastal landscapes, while the old road towards Milna provides a route through olive groves and forest.
