Set alongside the Cospillot slope in Courchevel, Chalet Alpage combines the privacy and scale of a substantial private residence with the exceptional services of a luxury hotel. Positioned at the edge of the piste and connected to the neighbouring hotel by a passageway, it offers an appealing sense of independence while keeping additional hospitality services within easy reach.
With 600 sqm of living space arranged over four levels, the chalet accommodates up to 10 guests in five bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Its elevated position looks across the Courchevel valley towards La Dent du Villard, with expansive views that can be enjoyed from the living spaces, balconies and outdoor terrace.
The main living level is designed for relaxed gatherings, with two separate lounge areas arranged around a fireplace and framed by large bay windows. The generous glazing fills the interiors with natural light while keeping the surrounding mountains visually present throughout the day.
A bar and dining room provide natural settings for meals and drinks, while a piano introduces a more personal touch to the principal living space. The large balcony extends the room outdoors, creating an elevated vantage point from which to appreciate the alpine landscape.
The interiors balance contemporary design with the warmth traditionally associated with a mountain retreat. After a day on the slopes, the atmosphere lends itself naturally to slower evenings: the fire burning in the lounge, music from the piano and perhaps a hot chocolate prepared by the chef, enjoyed in the comfort of the chalet while hotel services remain just a short walk away.
The sleeping accommodation is divided between the mezzanine and the first lower level. One bedroom occupies the mezzanine, with its own ensuite bathroom, toilet, dressing area, desk and balcony.
Four further bedrooms are located on Level -1. Each has an ensuite bathroom, toilet, dressing area, desk and private balcony, giving guests their own comfortable retreat away from the principal living areas. With five bedrooms in total, the chalet accommodates 10 guests while maintaining a clear distinction between shared and private spaces.
The lowest level brings together an extensive collection of leisure facilities. A swimming pool with waterfalls and a jet-swim system provides an invigorating indoor setting, complemented by a sauna and steam room for more restorative moments. A shower and toilet complete the wellness facilities.
There is also a separate lounge area and home cinema, alongside a dedicated cinema equipped with nine reclining armchairs. The arrangement makes the lower level particularly versatile, whether the preference is for an afternoon in the pool, time in the sauna or a film in a purpose-designed setting.
A private ski room is also located on this level, providing a practical space for storing equipment before and after days on the Cospillot slope. The level opens onto a terrace, maintaining a connection with the surrounding mountains even within this more private part of the chalet.
Across its four levels, Chalet Alpage creates a natural progression from sociable living spaces to private bedrooms and an extensive leisure floor. Large windows, balconies and terraces repeatedly open the chalet towards its panoramic setting, with La Dent du Villard and the Courchevel valley forming a constant backdrop.
The combination of 600 sqm of living space, five ensuite bedrooms, a piano, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and dedicated nine-seat cinema gives the chalet a character that extends well beyond a traditional alpine retreat. Its position beside the piste adds an immediate connection to the mountains, while the internal passageway to the neighbouring hotel brings an additional layer of convenience to the private chalet experience.
