Set on an elevated hillside in the Maenam District of Koh Samui, Villa Raku is an architect-designed tropical residence with expansive views across the Gulf of Thailand. Occupying 900 m² of living space on a 1,600 m² plot, the villa combines contemporary architecture with bespoke furnishings and carefully selected natural materials. Its open-plan living and dining area is framed by floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, dressed with raw silk curtains, allowing the surrounding landscape and changing sea views to become an integral part of the interior. The result is a bright, open setting that connects indoor living with the tropical surroundings.

Bedrooms & Private Spaces

The villa features five en-suite bedrooms, thoughtfully arranged to accommodate both couples and families. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed and a spacious bathroom, while three guest bedrooms feature king- or queen-size beds, each with its own en-suite facilities. A dedicated children's bedroom, furnished with two bunk beds and its own bathroom, provides comfortable accommodation for up to four children. The overall layout offers a balance of privacy and shared living, making the property well suited to families travelling together.

Pool, Leisure & Hospitality

Outdoor living centres around an impressive L-shaped swimming pool finished in a gold-flecked Bisazza mosaic, its distinctive surface complementing the surrounding tropical scenery. An adjoining glass-mosaic sala, furnished with Jim Thompson fabrics, provides a shaded setting for relaxation, while sunken seating, teak furnishings and a grass courtyard with double sunbeds create additional places to unwind. Beyond the pool area, the villa features a well-equipped gym and a foosball table, offering options for both exercise and indoor entertainment. A dedicated team of three staff members, including a private chef, looks after the daily running of the property. Daily housekeeping, complimentary continental breakfast, two-way airport transfers and Guest Experience concierge assistance are included, while baby cots and high chairs are available for families with young children. High-speed Wi-Fi is provided throughout the residence.

Maenam & Koh Samui

Located in Maenam, on the northern coast of Koh Samui, Raku Samui enjoys an elevated position overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. The district offers a more relaxed atmosphere than some of the island's busier resort areas, with a combination of tropical greenery, coastal scenery and traditional island character. Its hillside setting makes the villa particularly appealing for guests who appreciate open sea views and the changing colours of the sky at sunset. The wider island offers opportunities to explore its beaches, restaurants, local markets and coastal attractions, with Maenam providing a quieter base from which to discover Koh Samui.
