Set within the natural reserve of the same name, Villa Calista occupies a secluded position along the Salento coast, overlooking the Ionian Sea. Its views extend between the promontories of Gallipoli and Porto Cesareo, while a perimeter wall, an entrance path and mature vegetation help preserve the privacy of the property. The villa sits within a 3,000 sqm garden, where shaded areas and open spaces provide room to relax outdoors. Its surroundings are also well suited to activities such as hiking, snorkelling and cycling.

Interiors and Accommodation

The villa combines white walls and extensive use of marble with warm wooden elements and minimalist, carefully considered furnishings. On the ground floor, the spacious living area includes sofas and a daybed, alongside a library, a separate living room and an open-plan dining area. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals throughout the stay. Villa Calista accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms, each with sea views, a private bathroom and a wardrobe. One bedroom also has its own private terrace.

Outdoor Living and Swimming Pool

The outdoor spaces are a central part of the property, with a 14-metre private swimming pool positioned close to the sea. The garden includes areas for sunbathing and shaded corners for relaxing during the warmer hours. A large outdoor dining area, furnished with tables, chairs and sofas, accommodates up to 14 people and includes a barbecue, making it suitable for leisurely meals and gatherings in the open air.

The nearest bay is approximately 400 metres away, while Sant’Isidoro beach lies around 5 kilometres from the villa and the beaches of Santa Caterina are about 9 kilometres away. Punta Prosciutto is approximately 25 kilometres away. The town of Nardò is around 7 kilometres from the property, Gallipoli 20 kilometres and Lecce 30 kilometres. Brindisi Airport is approximately 50 kilometres away, providing access for arrivals and departures.
