A Mountain Retreat in the Austrian Alps

Chalet Krone occupies an elevated position overlooking the valley and surrounding pine-clad hillsides, with panoramic mountain views. Arranged across three floors, the chalet combines generous shared spaces with a dedicated wellness area and accommodation for larger groups. Its setting near Lech provides access to the Arlberg ski region in winter, while the surrounding Alpine landscape offers opportunities for outdoor activities throughout the summer.

Accommodation and Layout

The chalet features six bedrooms, including a master suite with a double bed, dressing room and en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. Three further bedrooms have double beds and en-suite shower rooms, while a fifth bedroom is arranged with twin beds and an en-suite shower room. The sixth bedroom is a four-bunk room with its own shower room. The property information lists six bathrooms in total and a capacity of up to 14 guests, although the introductory description gives a different capacity.

Living Spaces and Wellness Facilities

The main living area centres on a feature fireplace, with sofa seating and an adjoining dining area and kitchen. Wide balcony doors open onto an outdoor space overlooking the valley. Additional spaces include cosy lounge areas, a bar, a wine cellar and a wood-clad games room with a second bar, table football and a collection of vinyl records. The wellness facilities feature an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, saunas and a treatment room, with pale wood and natural stone creating a calm atmosphere. A boot room with heated boot warmers and ski racks provides practical storage for winter sports equipment. The chalet also offers a host, Michelin-starred chefs, butler, housekeeping and service personnel.

Exploring Lech Throughout the Year

Lech lies at an altitude of approximately 1,450 to 2,450 metres and forms part of the Arlberg ski region, which offers 350 kilometres of downhill slopes and 27 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails, including routes around the Flexen Pass. Other winter activities in the area include guided off-piste skiing, heli-skiing, the Snowpark Lech, the Monazabon ice rink and a toboggan run at the Bergbahn Oberlech cable car. During summer, the surrounding mountains provide opportunities for hiking, trail running, mountain biking, golf and fishing.
